Story
On the 12th October 2024 I will be taking part in the Kent Downs Ultra Challenge running 25K to raise money for The Heart of Kent Hospice. Heart of Kent gave my Dad the most loving care during his battle with mouth cancer until he passed away on 29th June 2024 My Dad was a passionate runner, who completed 112 Half Marathons and many other races. Dads last run was on 25th May 2024 at Leybourne Lakes Parkrun just after he found out his cancer was terminal. I will be running this with my husband in memory of my brave inspirational Dad and to raise money for the wonderful Heart of Kent Hospice.
