Howard was the most kind hearted man I've ever known, always popped in to see me on his runs in West Malling and come out with a funny joke every now and then. Even though I only helped him secure the flat he lives in he felt like a very close friend and will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Howard x

A dear friend for so many years we’ve watched the Gills both home & away laughed & complained about them oh so many times!! Shared more than a pint or two putting the world to rights, Howard you will be missed in so many ways but never forgotten.

Great Uncle Howard, or G Uncle as you said, you will be sorely missed. Thank you for the memories with dad and Granddad (your brother) going to watch Gillingham up and down the country over the years. I’m so pleased the club managed to visit you, as I know how much that would’ve meant to you.
